Applet: Ship control demo

Here's an applet that simulates an Asteroids-style spaceship, with a "star" and several other, computer-controlled ships.

Click inside the applet, and control the ship with the arrow keys; left/right to turn on the directional rockets and up to turn on the main rocket.

You can actually achieve a relatively stable orbit around the star if you work on it for a bit.
